It is said that back in the old days, a ‘tantrik’ cast a black magic spell on the palace and the villagers around and Bhangarh was doomed forever. Visitors are not allowed in the area after sunset, owing to the paranormal activities reported inside. There’s another story that has been doing the rounds since a long time now, according to which, the houses in some of the villages around Bhangarh are roof-less. If a roof is built even today, it collapses in no time. Spooked out? That’s just the first one. Bhangarh Fort has been one of the most haunted places in India for years. Another place which is featured in films, but the film was shot during the day. The ruins of the fort are said to be haunted for decades. Even the government has prohibited entry to the fort after the sun sets.
