Bollywood’s veteran actor Anupam Kher, known for his exceptional acting skills, finally broke his silence, when he was recently asked questions regarding militants burning schools in Kashmir and the adverse weather of smog in the national capital, at an interview on Sunday.
Situations in the valley have turned from worse to worst! The miscreants have burnt around 25 schools and schools have remained shut since July 9th.
The critically applauded actor in an interview recently spoke his heart out and expressed his grief on the ongoing rant in Kashmir. Showing his concern for the students in the valley Kher said, “People who are burning schools are anti-children, they just want our students to remain illiterate and adopt terrorism”
According to Anupam Kher, the ongoing violence will eventually lead the culprits to pollute the minds of young Kashmiri’s and trick them into terrorism even more. Ever since the Uri attacks took place, there has been regular cross border firing across LoC, and relations between India and Pakistan have turned even more complex and vigilant.
Talking about the young souls getting burnt in Kashmir and getting emotional over the issue, he also said “People doing this want the students to remain illiterate so that they can pollute their mind and manipulate them for opting terrorism. Instead of becoming a good citizen of this country and make their life better, they will go and follow a certain path which is not good for them and not good for us.”
With situations of complete chaos in Kashmir, The National Panthers Party (NPP) has called for the imposition of Governor’s rule in the state. State chief minister Mehbooba Mufti expressed deep concern over this issue terming it “unfortunate”. She also asserted that things would become normal in the coming weeks and there would be a good news for the people of Kashmir.
