The world’s tallest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa, was lit up in tri-colours – saffron, white and green to mark the 68th Republic Day of India.

Three times last evening, the musical fountains adjacent to the world’s tallest building leapt to the strains of Jai Ho and Vande Mataram as a mile high electronic flag draped the Burj. The same inspiring sequence will be repeated at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 this evening.
