The Swachh Bharat Mission is one of the projects which Prime Minister Narendra Modi rarely forgets to mention in his speeches. And when a poster highlighting his pet project with a Bollywood tinge to it was posted on Twitter, he couldn’t stop himself from responding to the ‘humorous’ message with a laugh.

A poster showing a scene from Amithab Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor starrer iconic 1975 film Deewar was put up by Nainital Municipal Corporation to encourage people build toilets in their home.

The poster features the dramatic scene from the film where brothers Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor are arguing with each other after their mother decides to live with ‘honest’ son Ravi (Shashi Kapoor) abandoning Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) who took to crime to earn money.

While in the film maa Nirupama Roy sides with Shashi Kapoor, the poster she is shown to have different priority. “Nahi, jo pehle shauchalaya banaega, main uske saath rahugi (I will stay with whoever builds a toilet first),” the poster shows Nirupama, as saying.

The creativity of the poster was well appreciated by Prime Minister Modi.“Haha! Borrows from cinema to make a point on cleanliness. Innovative,” the PM responded to the tweet.
