Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known to break protocol and surprise us with his humble gestures. See what he did today at the inauguration of Dhola-Sadiya bridge in Assam.
To mark three years of the NDA government, PM Modi inaugurated the Dhola-Sadiya bridge today which connects Dhola in Assam to Sadiya in Arunachal Pradesh.
This is India’s longest bridge and is capable of bearing the weight of a 60-tonne battle tank. It is built over the river Lohit, which is a tributary of the Brahmaputra.
He will also address a public meeting in the evening.
